About Us

Last Pint Productions is the latest joint venture between Benjamin Wilson and Matt Schenk. Meeting through serendipitous circumstances in 2009, the writing duo bonded over a shared love of movies and beer. A short while later, they began work on the Television Series DreamWriters. This collaboration spawned four other series concepts, one original screenplay, a feature film adaptation of a novel, and two shorts. Their work has appeared on scriptapaloozatv.com, scripped.com and the Jameson First Shot competition. They were chosen to write a guest blog on storyboardtv.com describing their writing process during a competition in which they were Finalists.

Matt and Ben continue to collaborate together in their hometown of Boynton Beach, FL. Their next project includes a half hour comedy set in a South Florida retirement community and an original musical idea with fellow writer Nick SantaCroce. They will be in Los Angeles in March of 2012 to pitch DreamWriters. Last Pint Productions is their new official production company and home to their various endeavors both new, and old. This site will serve to showcase their work, but also a venue to share their love of Television and Film.

Benjamin Wilson, a native of Chattanooga, TN, became interested in the film and television arts at a young age, practicing amateur photography and theater production in his adolescent years, while also developing a love for songwriting and musical performance.

He attended the school for Motion Picture, Television, and Recording Arts at Florida State University, while at the same time was performing in the nationally touring alternative rock band Gadwell Lane. After college and a good deal of volunteer work with the peace organization CISV, Benjamin relocated to Florida to pursue a job in the health care industry, but soon after was drawn back into the production world.

He now resides with his wife in Boynton Beach, where he is currently the production manager for a media firm. In his spare time he likes to write, play sports, and brew beer.

Matt Schenk is a television, film, and pop culture enthusiast who has called 8 states home at one time or another. Born in New York, he moved at 6 months old to California, then Arizona, then Florida, then Ohio, then back to Florida with stints spent in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Texas.

His first passion was acting, and he appeared in plays and musical theatre throughout middle school, high school, college, and finally community theatre. It was his love of acting that lead him to pursue the art of television and film. With his Bachelor’s in Marketing and English Literature, he worked side by side with the author of Riders On The Storm (available through Moraine West Publishing), acting as an editor, photographer, graphic designer, and contributor.

Currently residing in Florida, Matt works as a content manager in Social Media and E-Marketing.
